QI Gong, an ancient MIND-BODY practice to transform your health

Medical Qigong — Gentle movement for balance and calm

Slow, intentional movement, breathwork, and guided attention to help you feel more centered, flexible, and present.

What is Medical Qigong?

Medical Qigong is a therapeutic practice within Traditional Chinese Medicine that combines gentle movement, breath techniques, and mindful focus. Sessions are designed to cultivate inner awareness and support everyday functioning — they’re accessible to people of all ages and mobility levels and can be adapted to seated or standing practice.

How does Qigong work?

Qigong guides the body and mind through slow, coordinated movements and breath patterns that encourage ease, improved range of motion, and calm attention. In practice we focus on breath, posture, and simple forms that encourage better body awareness and more relaxed, efficient movement. Many students find the practice helps them manage daily stress, move more comfortably, and feel more grounded.

Benefits people commonly notice

While individual results vary, participants often report that regular qigong practice:

  • Promotes a sense of calm and reduced mental tension

  • Improves flexibility, balance, and joint comfort

  • Supports gentle recovery after activity and helps maintain mobility

  • Enhances focus, breath awareness, and relaxation practices

Note: Qigong is a supportive wellness practice and not a substitute for medical care. If you have specific health concerns, discuss them with your provider and tell us before your first session.
